U-Pick blueberries are a seasonal experience at Blueberry Hills, offering visitors the chance to harvest fresh berries directly from the field. Availability varies each year based on weather and crop conditions, so hours and picking status may change throughout the season. We recommend checking in before your visit to confirm current availability.

2024 Blueberry U-Pick

Fields were open for picking daily from 8:00 AM – 2:30 PM during the 2024 season.

  • U-Pick: $3.50 per lb
  • We-Pick: $5.00 per lb

Picking blueberries is about more than filling a bucket — it’s about spending time in the field, enjoying the fresh air, and taking part in a hands-on farm tradition. The gallery below offers a look at what you can expect during the u-pick season at Blueberry Hills.

What to Bring

Please be prepared to leave your current driver’s license at the fruit stand in exchange for the buckets we lend you to pick into. We’ve had ongoing issues with theft over the past few years, and this policy helps ensure buckets are returned and fruit is properly paid for. We understand it’s a hassle, but it’s the best solution we’ve found.

We provide buckets for picking, but not for taking fruit home. Buckets may run out during busy times, so you’re always welcome to bring your own. Wearing a belt around your waist to hang your bucket can be helpful if you prefer to keep both hands free while picking.

Water, Water, Water!

It’s hot out in the fields, so please remember to stay hydrated during your visit. We also appreciate guests helping keep the farm clean by not leaving garbage in the fields.
